Friends Are The Family You Choose
There are people in our lives who make us happy by the simple chance of having crossed our path. Some walk the path beside us , seeing many moons pass, but others we hardly see them between one step and another. We call them all friends and there are many kinds of them.
Perhaps each leaf on a tree characterizes one of our friends. The first to emerge from the outbreak is our friend, dad, and our friend, mom, who show us what life is like. Then come brother friends, with whom we divide our space so that they can flourish like us.
And sometimes one of those soul friends explodes in our heart and is then called a friend in love. That brightens our eyes, music to our lips, jumps to our feet. But there are also those friends for a time, perhaps a vacation or a few days or a few hours. They usually put many smiles on our face, during the time that we are close.
Speaking closely, we cannot forget distant friends, those who are at the tips of the branches and who always appear between one leaf and another when the wind blows.
Time passes, summer is leaving, autumn is approaching and we lose some of our leaves, some are born in another summer and others remain for many seasons. But what makes us happier is that those that fell are still close, feeding our roots with joy. They are memories of wonderful moments from when they crossed our path.
I wish you, leaf of my tree, peace, love, health, luck and prosperity. Today and always … Simply because each person who passes in our life is unique. He always leaves a little of himself and takes a little of us.
There will be those who will take a lot, but there will be those who will not leave us anything. This is the greatest responsibility in our life and the evident proof that two souls do not meet by chance.

Friends are the family we choose. A friend cannot give you the solution to all your problems, nor does he have answers for your doubts or fears. However, he makes an effort to listen to you and share every feeling and emotion with you.
A friend is one who knows all your flaws and loves you despite them. Perhaps these are the friends of the soul and the friends in love, those whom we can call life companions. They are tremendously valuable and it is for them that we are always lush and colored.
Friends do not have in their power to change your future or your past, but they are by your side when you need them most. Or, at least, that is what they want and intend. Nor can they remove the stones from your path so that you do not fall, but they extend a hand to you to hold on.
Knowing this, there is no doubt that the best thing that can happen to you in life is finding someone to laugh with, who to talk to and who to cry with. It is gratifying to know that someone cares about your happiness and is watching over you.
Finding a true friendship is a great treasure, it is the most important ingredient in life’s recipe. Sincere friends are those who offer us space to grow, who do not put limits in our life.
Friends escape in whatever order we want to establish. They are not the first or the last on our list of priorities, they only occupy a privileged and unique place for them, a space specially created to enjoy the emotional exchange between two people who love each other.
There are few things as beautiful as a look that is united by complicity or as the gleam of happy eyes or spontaneous smiles that reveal immediate understanding. It is precisely for this quality that true friendships stand out.
Good friends improve your mood, help you achieve goals, support you through difficult times, make those moments of depression minimal, relieve your stress, and grow old with you.
